BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The purpose of this role is to provide technical advice on the Typhoon Weapon Platform, at Main and Deployed Operating Bases. You will provide technical support to maintainers in their investigation of aircraft, system, Line Replaceable Items (LRI) faults, utilising the approved dataset, personal experience and recourse to the Technical Query (TQ) service as appropriate. You will also provide technical advice to the RSAF in generating National Technical Instructions, informed by Industry‑provided approved data. Maintaining the Typhoon Asset Gateway capability. Maintaining a knowledge‑sharing network across the UK‑based In‑Service Support Team (ISST), Typhoon Design Organization Team, Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO) and the RSAF. Ensuring compliance with all Function and Contractual requirements.
When nominated, deputise as Technical Specialist LTS1, acting within the bounds of any delegations and authorisations.
Provide technical support to Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) and PC Aircraft Generation Flights (AGF), Depth Shops and Scheduled Maintenance & Upgrade (SMU) facility aircraft maintainers, in their fault diagnosis and system / LRI investigations, to support continuing airworthiness through the use of approved data and the TQ procedure, including:
