Technical Manager – Events & Entertainment
We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager – Audio, Video & Lighting to lead and manage technical operations for large-scale live events, concerts, exhibitions, and entertainment productions in Riyadh.
The role requires a hands‑on technical leader who can ensure flawless execution, high production standards, and operational safety while working closely with clients, production teams, and vendors in a fast‑paced events environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee audio, video, and lighting operations for live events, concerts, and entertainment productions.
- Manage and supervise technical teams, ensuring efficient deployment, coordination, and performance on‑site.
- Plan, install, and monitor AV systems, lighting rigs, video walls, and show control systems.
- Conduct technical rehearsals, testing, and quality checks before and during events.
- Coordinate with event producers, project managers, artists’ teams, and vendors to ensure seamless delivery.
- Ensure all technical operations comply with safety standards, venue regulations, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly during live shows to minimize disruption.
- Maintain equipment inventory, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
- Adapt effectively to high‑pressure, live‑event environments with tight timelines and changing requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Event Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- 5–7+ years of experience in technical management within events, live entertainment, concerts, or large productions.
- Strong expertise in professional audio systems, lighting consoles, video systems, and live‑event technologies.
- Proven team leadership and on‑site event management experience.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- Comfortable working flexible hours, event schedules, and under live‑event pressure.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel as required for events.
