The project:

Mace is supporting the delivery of a landmark sports and entertainment venue in the Middle East. Designed with sustainability and cultural inspiration at its core, this world‑class facility will host major global events and serve as a centerpiece for a transformative urban development.

You'll be responsible for:
  • Supervising all technical aspects of the project, ensuring design integrity, compliance with international standards, and seamless integration of complex systems.
  • Acting as the client’s technical authority within the PMC team, you will oversee design development, technical assurance, and interface management across architecture, structure, MEP, specialist systems, and technology packages.
  • Managing multidisciplinary design coordination (architecture, structure, MEP, façade, roof, bowl systems, broadcast, ICT, and security).
  • Driving value engineering and innovation while safeguarding performance and safety.
  • Implementing technical assurance frameworks, including design audits, constructability reviews, and readiness assessments.
  • Identifying technical risks early; develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Ensuring technical compliance for life safety, evacuation, fire strategy, acoustics, accessibility, and sustainability targets.
  • Acting as a technical liaison with client sponsors, operators, authorities, and third‑party consultants.
You'll need to have:
  • Extensive years of technical leadership on major stadiums or complex mega‑projects.
  • Proven experience in PMC or client‑side consultancy roles.
  • Deep technical knowledge across architecture, structure, MEP, and specialist systems.
  • Familiarity with international stadium standards (FIFA, UEFA, ICC, NFPA, BS/EN codes).
  • Strong track record in design assurance, technical governance, and commissioning.
  • Middle East experience and knowledge of local codes and permitting.
