Overview
As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of recruitment for Samsung KSA. You will move beyond execution to design and oversee comprehensive talent ecosystems that attract high-caliber leadership and specialized professionals. Your goal is to transform talent acquisition from a functional service into a strategic business driver, ensuring the workforce plan aligns with Samsung’s long-term commercial goals in the Kingdom. You will act as a senior advisor to leadership, leveraging market intelligence and data to maintain Samsung’s competitive edge as an employer of choice.
Position Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the annual Talent Acquisition strategy for Samsung KSA, aligning with regional business objectives and Saudization targets.
- Recruitment: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for senior management and executive-level positions, ensuring a high-touch experience for top-tier talent.
- Workforce Planning: Partner with Department Heads and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to forecast long-term hiring needs and manage the recruitment budget effectively.
- Talent Ecosystem Management: Architect sophisticated sourcing strategies, including talent mapping, proactive headhunting, and the development of a robust internal mobility framework.
- Data Governance & Insights: Lead the use of recruitment analytics to track ROI, time-to-hire, and quality-of-hire, presenting actionable insights to the executive team to drive process optimization.
- Employer Branding & PR: Direct employer branding initiatives and external partnerships with universities and government entities to strengthen Samsung’s talent pipeline in Riyadh.
- Vendor & Agency Management: Oversee relationships with consulting search firms and third-party vendors, ensuring high performance and adherence to Samsung’s global standards.
- Process Excellence: Audit and refine the recruitment lifecycle to ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law, internal policies, and global best practices.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive recruitment experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity within a multinational or large-scale corporate environment.
- Strategic Sourcing Expert: Proven track record in executive search and headhunting for niche/technical roles within the KSA market.
- Stakeholder Influence: Advanced ability to consult, influence, and challenge senior leadership and stakeholders on hiring decisions and market trends.
- Analytical Rigor: Strong experience in managing recruitment budgets and using data-driven metrics to influence business outcomes.
- Systems Knowledge: Expert proficiency in ATS management, LinkedIn Recruiter, and digital HR transformation tools.
- Cultural & Market Fluency: Deep understanding of the Saudi Arabian labor market, including Saudization (Nitaqat) requirements and local talent landscape.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a significant plus).
- Professional Certification: CIPD (Level 5 or 7), SHRM-CP/SCP, or equivalent recruitment certifications are highly preferred.
- Language: Bilingual (Arabic & English) is mandatory, with excellent professional writing and presentation skills in both.
- Technical: Advanced proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint for executive reporting).
