Job summary

TAWANTECH is seeking an experienced Temenos T24 System Architect to lead architecture initiatives across Core Banking platforms and oversee deployments for stability, scalability, and high availability.

The role requires hands-on TAFC/TAFJ expertise, strong environment management, and collaboration with infrastructure, development, and security teams on large-scale banking transformations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of Temenos T24 experience in core banking.
• Strong experience in Core Banking implementations.
• Experience in large-scale banking transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure Temenos T24 architectures and deployments.
• Lead T24 installation, upgrades, migrations, and Go-Live activities.
• Administer Temenos T24 environments and multi-instance configs.
• Monitor performance, perform tuning, and manage DR/BC plans.
• Design integrations with external systems, Web Services, and SWIFT.
• Collaborate with Infra, Development, Database, Security, and Business teams.
• Prepare technical documentation and mentor junior engineers.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced T24 System Architect with deep expertise in Temenos Transact (T24) to design, implement, upgrade, and maintain Core Banking environments. The ideal candidate will lead T24 architecture initiatives, oversee system deployments, optimize performance, and ensure the stability, scalability, and availability of mission-critical banking platforms.

The successful candidate should possess strong hands-on experience with TAFC/TAFJ architecture, infrastructure design, environment management, system integration, and production support across the complete implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

System Architecture

• Design and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available Temenos T24 system architectures.
• Define deployment architecture and environment strategies for Development, SIT, UAT, DR, and Production.
• Lead T24 infrastructure planning, sizing, and capacity management.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery readiness, and business continuity.

Implementation & Deployment

• Lead end-to-end T24 implementation and deployment activities.
• Plan and execute T24 installation, configuration, upgrades, and migrations.
• Support TAFC to TAFJ migration projects.
• Coordinate production deployments and Go-Live activities.
• Prepare deployment plans and rollback strategies.

System Administration

• Administer Temenos T24 environments.
• Configure Single Instance and Multi-Instance environments.
• Monitor system health and availability.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and system failures.
• Perform patch management and system upgrades.

Performance & Infrastructure

• Optimize COB performance and batch processing.
• Perform system performance tuning.
• Monitor CPU, memory, storage, and application performance.
• Analyze bottlenecks and recommend infrastructure improvements.

Integration

• Design and support integration between T24 and external systems.
• Manage Web Services and API connectivity.
• Support SWIFT integrations.
• Configure and troubleshoot IBM MQ messaging.
• Collaborate with middleware teams.

Middleware & Database

Work with:

• IBM WebSphere
• JBoss Enterprise Application Server

• Microsoft SQL Server

Support database connectivity, application servers, and middleware performance.

Operating Systems

• Administer Linux and Unix servers.
• Manage shell scripts and scheduled jobs.
• Perform server monitoring and troubleshooting.

Project Delivery

• Support Core Banking implementation projects.
• Participate in architecture reviews.
• Prepare technical documentation.
• Mentor junior T24 engineers and administrators.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Development, Database, Security, and Business teams.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 8 years of experience in Temenos T24.

Strong experience in Core Banking implementations.

Experience in large-scale banking transformation projects.
