A leading small‑to‑medium‑size company in the manufacturing sector, specializing in steel fabrication, is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize the end‑to‑end supply chain processes including procurement, inventory/warehousing, and logistics. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in steel fabrication and strong operational leadership capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Procurement strategy & execution: lead strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, and negotiation to secure materials at competitive costs while ensuring quality and reliability.
• Warehouse & inventory management: oversee inventory control policies, warehouse operations, materials handling, and stock accuracy to minimize waste and stockouts.
• Supply chain planning: develop and manage demand forecasting, supply planning, and production coordination to align with business goals.
• Supplier relationship management: build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure performance and continuity.
• Cost control & efficiency: monitor supply chain costs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and reduce total cost of ownership.
• ERP & systems integration: utilize ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo) for procurement, inventory tracking, reporting, and process automation.
• Compliance & risk management: ensure compliance with local regulations, quality standards, and internal controls while identifying and mitigating risks in the supply chain.

Qualifications

Minimum of 15 years of experience in supply chain management within the steel fabrication or manufacturing industry, with proven strategic sourcing, inventory management, and ERP implementation expertise.

Strong leadership and operational skills, with the ability to drive process improvements and maintain high supplier performance.
