Job summary

A leading inspection service provider in Dammam seeks an experienced Supplier Chain Manager. You will oversee supply chain activities, negotiate with suppliers, and manage a team of at least 5. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas or Automotive industries and a Bachelor's in Business or Engineering. This role requires strong negotiation skills and proficiency in inventory management systems. Competitive package offered.

Qualifications

  • Excellent supply chain experience in Oil and Gas or Automotive industry; minimum 10 years leading a supply chain department.
  • Experience in managing, mentoring and directing a team (at least 5 subordinates).
  • Hands-on experience in inventory management (bar coding; minimum stock planning).
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Advanced skills in inventory management systems.

Overview

PIPECARE is looking for a professional and experienced Supplier Chain Manager to join their organization. Candidates who can join immediately with past experience as Supply Chain Managers have an added advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Planning the activities and tasks for all supply chain departments aiming for best practice processes and policies globally.
  • Find best work practices to fulfil the company requirements and expectations from supply chain.
  • Utilize industrial engineering skills to improve the supply chain.
  • Handling negotiations with suppliers related to procurements.
  • Find the best ways to minimize procurement costs while maintaining the required quality.
  • Managing stores activities and day-to-day work plan; increasing store efficiency by minimizing costs and optimizing space.
  • Auditing the store.
  • Overviewing the logistics work.
  • Maintaining all work related to supply chain and maximizing performance of the team.
  • Match targets as per prepared plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management and/or supervisor.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain Management

  • Experience in strategic sourcing
  • Knowledge of local and international suppliers
