A manufacturing company specializing in chemicals is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role involves identifying inefficiencies, leading optimization projects, and analyzing supply chain data. Ideal candidates will have a relevant Bachelor's degree and 5-10 years of experience within the chemical industry. 1 Process Improvement - Identify and analyze inefficiencies and bottlenecks in the supply chain. Propose and implement process improvements and cost-saving strategies across procurement, logistics & Distribution, Supply & Demand Planning.
2 Actively participate in and lead supply chain optimization projects (e.g., Inventory optimization, Goods Expiry & Risk mitigation, route planning, …)
3 Data Analysis & Reporting - Collect and analyze supply chain data from various sources, including inventory levels, sales forecasts, procurement, logistics, and production.
4 Data Analysis & Reporting - Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor supply chain performance.
5 Data Analysis & Reporting - Prepare and present reports to management on supply chain metrics, identifying areas of concern and opportunities for improvement.
6 Supply Chain Innovation - Actively investigate & test innovative solutions for Supply Chain daily challenges e.g. Gen AI, RPA, Machine Learning, IOT, RFID, ..., Assess the feasibility of new technologies & the potential value to BCI supply chain
7 Supply Chain Innovation - Develop & test use cases to utilize state-of-the-art technologies to improve supply chain efficiency & cost effectiveness
8 Supply Chain Innovation - Lead the learning & development of the supply chain team and introduce State-of-the-art technologies & supply chain trends
