About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Structural Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Structural Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of buildings and structures throughout the region. This position requires a professional approach, strong organizational skills, and a cautious mindset to identify potential structural issues and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, bridges, and other structures to assess their structural integrity and safety
  • Identify and document structural defects, damage, or deterioration using advanced inspection techniques and equipment
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, including observations, findings, and recommended corrective actions
  • Analyze structural components and systems to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals to address structural concerns and implement solutions
  • Perform risk assessments and recommend preventive maintenance measures to extend the lifespan of structures
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, safety regulations, and inspection methodologies
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and contribute to the development of structural inspection databases
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures during all inspection activities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients, stakeholders, and team members on structural integrity matters
What do we need from you
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural inspection or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of structural defects, material behavior, and deterioration mechanisms
  • Familiarity with relevant inspection standards and safety regulations, including local Saudi Arabian building codes
  • Proficiency in using various inspection tools and equipment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent report writing abilities and proficiency in inspection software or asset management systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various site locations within the Riyadh region
  • Physical ability to access and inspect various structural components, sometimes in challenging environments
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professional integrity
