Job summary

A leading construction company in the Riyadh Region is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to lead critical design activities. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in designing major infrastructure and high-rise buildings. Key responsibilities include reviewing design calculations, ensuring compliance with standards, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in structural design of major infrastructure and high-rise buildings.
• Strong knowledge of design codes (ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocodes).
• Proven experience with contracting or consulting companies in the GCC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design activities for corporate and project-based requirements.
• Develop, review, and approve structural design calculations, models, and construction drawings.
• Ensure compliance with international design standards, project specifications, and applicable codes.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architecture, MEP, planning, and project management.
• Provide technical guidance, value engineering solutions, and design optimization strategies.
• Support tender and estimation teams with structural inputs and design-related documentation.
• Review contractor/shop drawings and respond to design queries.
• Oversee structural integrity assessments for existing buildings and infrastructure.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the structural design of major infrastructure, high-rise buildings, pipelines, roads, and landscape projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, and AutoCAD.
