Role Overview

The Stock Controller Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing and managing the stock control operations, ensuring that inventory levels are accurately maintained and optimized throughout the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, train, and mentor the stock control team to ensure high performance and adherence to procedures.
  • Develop and implement stock control processes that promote inventory accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular audits of stock levels and investigate discrepancies between physical and recorded stock.
  • Utilize inventory management systems to track stock levels and generate reports for analysis.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., purchasing, logistics, sales) to ensure availability of stock and support sales initiatives.
  • Manage stock movements, including receiving, storage, and distribution, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Identify trends, make recommendations for stock optimization, and report on stock‑related KPIs.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for stock replenishment and maintain positive relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to stock management.
