Key Accountabilities

  • Conducts comprehensive research and analysis of industry trends, competitive landscape, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to gather insights and data that inform strategic decision‑making.
  • Analyzes the organization's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis) to develop a holistic view of the business environment.
  • Works with senior leadership to formulate the organization's strategic vision, mission, and goals.
  • Translates strategic objectives into actionable plans, initiatives, and projects that drive progress toward the desired outcomes.
  • Develops detailed implementation plans, timelines, and performance metrics to track the execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and success of strategic initiatives.
  • Monitors and track performance against established KPIs, analyzing variances and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provides regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of strategic projects.
  • Collaborates with various departments to ensure alignment of strategies, goals, and initiatives across the organization.
  • Facilitates communication and coordination between different teams to ensure smooth execution of cross‑functional projects.
  • Identifies and evaluates new business opportunities, partnerships, acquisitions, and expansion possibilities.
  • Conducts financial analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to support decision‑making on potential growth avenues.
  • Develops scenarios and simulations to assess the potential impact of various internal and external factors on the organization's strategy.
  • Provides insights into potential risks and opportunities associated with different strategic directions.
  • Assists in change management efforts related to strategic initiatives, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Helps teams adapt to new strategies, processes, and initiatives by providing necessary support and resources.
  • Strictly follows established environmental, health, safety and quality policies and procedures in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high‑quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude.
  • Undertakes accountabilities in the operational excellence process as set out in the schedule of responsibilities.
  • Contributes to the processes of continuous improvement for the area assigned.
  • Performs any other relevant task as directed by Superintendent Planning & Budgets Control.
Qualifications

  • 12 years of experience in Finance field preferably in oil & gas sector.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
