We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee key accounting functions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support month-end and year-end closing processes. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of accounting principles and the ability to manage complex financial data with accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports

Manage general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial transactions

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes

Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and intercompany balances

  • Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation

Ensure compliance with local tax laws and VAT filings

Monitor and report on cash flow, expenses, and budget variances

Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial processes and reporting improvements
Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred

4 -6 years of relevant accounting experience

Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS or local GAAP)

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Tally)
