Responsibilities

This role is responsible assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections, and performing research and analysis as may be required by leadership.

  • Ensure compliance with Code of Ethics policy and adopting company values across all function’s employees and provide leadership to reinforce a strong people culture and ethical business practices.
  • Enhance adoption and utilization of systems and ERP.
  • Reviewing & analyze all cost effect transactions (labor, Material, subcontractor, equipment, other) to ensure Prepare compliance of process, item budgeted, appropriate price & proper account allocation.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statement and report.
  • Assist in the preparation budget, forecast & forecast to complete.
  • Prepare and Conduct Project cash flow analysis.
  • Monitor trial balance, correct errors, identify variances and notify concerned department.
  • Supervise the monthly closing process.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis.
  • Monitoring and follow-up of on-going project commitments such as POs, subcontract agreement, SLAs and others.
  • Prepare a detailed Actual vs Budget comparison and report on variances.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting package.
  • Reconcile PPM cost to Oracle, report on variances, correct errors & match balances.
  • Develop monthly financial reports (including project profit and loss, project balance sheet, project variance analysis, etc.)
  • Reconcile revenue to billing, report and analyze unbilled.
  • Follow up with cost control department on matching actual cost.
  • Follow up with commercial department on matching receivables, retention, down payments, claims and Vos.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of financial analysis, experience in engineering and contracting business is preferred. Middle east finance experience is also preferred.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Undergraduate degree in business and/or accounting.
  • Proficient in MS office suites.
  • Knowledge in accounting.
