alfanar Building Systems manufactures and markets a variety of building construction products and systems.

The core manufacturing activities of the industries operating under alfanar Building Systems are:

  • Ceramic wall and floor tiles
  • Precast concrete products and architectural elements

Preparing, managing, and submitting bids or tenders for construction project material selection & approval process for Civil work from start to finish, ensuring that all designs meet client requirements.

Key Accountability Areas

Tender Preparation and Proposal Development:

  • Analyze tender documentation (including client specifications, drawings, and requirements) to prepare detailed technical proposals.
  • Develop and prepare technical designs, calculations, drawings, and technical content for tender submissions.
  • Coordinate with design engineers and other technical teams to ensure the proposed solutions are feasible, innovative, and meet project requirements.
  • Ensure the submission of complete, compliant, and high-quality technical proposals that align with client expectations and company capabilities.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with project managers, procurement, and cost engineers to incorporate accurate cost estimates and delivery schedules into the tender proposal.
  • Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain necessary technical data and pricing for inclusion in the tender response.
  • Coordinate with the commercial team to ensure that the technical proposal aligns with pricing, scope of work, and contractual terms.

Technical Analysis and Risk Management:

  • Conduct a thorough technical evaluation of the project scope to identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Recommend alternative design solutions where applicable to enhance project feasibility, cost-efficiency, and compliance with client needs.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with tender proposals.

Document Management and Reporting:

  • Ensure all technical documentation and design files are correctly compiled, formatted, and stored in compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain clear and organized records of all tender-related communications, meetings, and revisions.
  • Prepare technical presentations for client meetings and internal reviews, providing detailed explanations of design solutions.
