Overview

As a Sports Manager, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing all sports and recreational facilities within the compound or community, ensuring high-quality operations, engaging programs, and exceptional member experiences. The role involves supervising sports activities, coordinating with coaches and staff, maintaining facilities, and promoting an active and healthy lifestyle among residents and members.

Key Accountabilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of all sports and recreation facilities (gyms, courts, swimming pools, etc.).
  • Develop and implement sports programs, tournaments, and wellness activities to promote participation and engagement.
  • Ensure all facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality.
  • Recruit, train, and manage sports coaches, trainers, and support staff.
  • Collaborate with community management to align sports programs with resident needs and company objectives.
  • Prepare and manage the sports department budget, including procurement and maintenance planning.
  • Monitor member feedback and continuously improve programs and services.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards across all activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing sports or recreational facilities, preferably within compounds, clubs, or hospitality environments.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in budgeting, operations management, and vendor coordination.
