Overview

As a Specification Sales Engineer - IT Channel your primary function of this role is to sell Electrical Products for Eaton DPQ Business in KSA by building and managing relationships with MEP consultants and end-users in the region. This role involves technical consultation, relationship building, and strategic sales planning to ensure DPQ products are specified in early project stages and carried through to procurement and to team up with targeted system integrators, IT Resellers & End users with the responsibility to manage all aspects of the customers relationship, providing sales and technical assistance in close coordination with the authorized channel partners, customers, end users and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to ensure growth and expansion of Eaton's DPQ Electrical Products in KSA. This includes strategies for introducing new product lines and achieving incremental growth in existing markets, as well as expanding into new markets.
  2. Create annual action plans to meet Eaton's DPQ growth targets in KSA.
  3. Prepare accurate and timely quotations and sales analysis reports on a monthly and weekly basis to provide management with sales results and forecasts.
  4. Provide regular reports on market feedback, sales performance and challenges.
  5. Offer first-line technical support to secure client design approvals, working closely with technical stakeholders on ongoing projects and opportunities.
  6. Focus on demand creation and Specification Sales activities for Eaton IT Channel Partners, ensuring effective system integrators, and end-users engagement.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with End-users, IT Resellers and System Integrators to achieve the desired market position for Eaton's products.
  8. Conduct Presentation to demonstrate DPQ solutions to customers.
  9. Manage Sell-in and Sell-out activities with the Distributors to ensure effective and timely engagement with customers.
  10. Provide management with insights and guidance on product requirements for target markets to secure maximum market share and sustainable growth.
  11. Collaborate internally with cross-functional teams to provide customers and partners with technical knowledge ensuring the best fit for their applications, supporting the awarding of projects in a timely and reasonable commercial manners.
  12. Collaborate internally with Marketing team to create and implement promotional campaigns and materials targeting the IT Resellers / SIs.
  13. Facilitate communication and collaboration with other Eaton divisions to support and deliver cross-selling opportunities within the assigned territory.
Qualifications
  • Engineering Degree, IT, Communication Engineering could be an asset
  • 4 to 6 years relevant experience within IT channel market, including distribution and system integration
  • Deep knowledge of UPS systems, PDUs, racks, and critical infrastructure solutions
  • Fluent English
