Job description
ROLE MAIN PURPOSE

Will be responsible to provide technical and operational expertise to control all safety activities of Kidana’s properties, employees, tenants, and visitors by implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining an effective safety system.

Functional Responsibilities
  • Supervise Security Operations:
    • Support the security project manager to supervise and monitor day-to-day operations of security teams, including access control, patrol, security operation center, and inspections to ensure effective service delivery.
    • Ensure that all security staff are obligated to post instructions.
    • Ensure adherence to attendance and shift handover protocols and manage staffing levels to meet operational demands.
    • Conduct performance reviews and handle personnel issues as necessary.
    • Ensure that all security assets are operational and maintained in good working conditions.
    • Raise any contractual deficiencies, violations to the security project manager.
  • Policy and Procedure Implementation:
    • Ensure the implementation and adherence to company security policies and procedures across all sites.
    • Ensure that all security staff are using the approved security templates properly.
  • Security Incident Management:
    • Respond swiftly to security incidents, assess the situation, update senior management, and take the necessary actions accordingly.
    • Conduct initial investigations for security incidents and prepare, review incident reports, and provide detailed documentation of the event, including actions taken and outcomes.
    • Coordinate with the Security Operations Center regarding incident notifications.
  • Public Event and VIP Visit Management:
    • Support with security arrangements for public events, ensuring the safety of attendees and the smooth execution of the event.
    • Implement security requirements prior to, during, and after VIP visits/ public events.
    • Supervise security personnel at public events and VIP visits, ensuring appropriate crowd control and protection measures are in place.
    • Monitor real-time security adjustments during events, ensuring all risks are mitigated promptly.
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation:
    • Identify security risks and vulnerabilities across the organization and report them to the Security Operations Manager for assessment.
    • Identify risks, gaps, and failures in Security Procedures, physical measures, and systems, and report them to the Security Operations Manager for further evaluation and correction.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain detailed records of security operations and any issues or incidents.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management or clients regarding the status of security operations, staffing, and contract compliance.
    • Document security incidents, drills, public event security, VIP visits, and any other significant events to ensure full compliance and continuous improvement.
Educational Qualifications & Professional Certificates
  • Educational Qualifications: High School Diploma/bachelor’s degree in security management or a Related Field (preferred).
  • Professional and Technical Certificates (preferred): Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or the Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Investigation Professional (CIP), First Aid, Fire Fighting.
Professional Experience

Minimum 5-8+ years of experience as a security professional with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
