An exciting opportunity is available for a Safety Specialist located in Jubail.

POSITION SUMMARY:

To plan and coordinate activities related to Occupational Safety to ensure the safety of all employees on Tasnee premises and prevent EHSS incidents.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leverage expertise in occupational safety to benefit the department, sharing knowledge, coaching, and advising colleagues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on complex safety issues to find effective solutions.
• Advise on local, international, and industry safety regulations and recommend necessary compliance actions.
• Stay updated on safety best practices worldwide to make informed recommendations.
• Monitor safety performance reports, identify trends, and alert management to issues.
• Investigate major safety incidents and recommend preventive measures.
• Identify safety hazards and establish guidelines for risk mitigation.
• Assist in developing safety awareness and training programs across departments.
• Recommend and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide coaching and share technical expertise to promote teamwork and departmental cooperation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management systems and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with EHSM, IMRS, and Responsible Care standards.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations within TPC.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• 4-6 years of experience, including at least 2 years as an HSE Specialist in a reputed Oil & Gas organization, with a proven record of performance and achievements.
