Specialist III, SAP Basis Job

Work Location: KSA > Jubail

An exciting opportunity is available for Specialist I, SAP Basis, located in Jubail.

Report to: Section Head, SAP Technology

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with expertise in design, implement, and manage SAP environments on cloud platforms such as SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), SAP RISE, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud along with SaaS Solutions like Ariba, IBP, SAC, etc... The ideal candidate will be responsible for system administration, performance tuning, upgrades, security, and ensuring high availability of SAP cloud landscapes.

Role responsibilities:

• Perform SAP system administration, installation, upgrades, migrations (on-prem to cloud or cloud-to-cloud), and patch management.
• Manage SAP Kernel, Support Packs, Enhancement Packs, and system refreshes
• Manage SAP RISE private cloud environments and integrations.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning.
• Work closely with SAP RISE Operations Team for provisioning and maintenance.
• Manage cloud-based SAP landscapes (Azure/AWS/GCP) and optimize performance.
• Troubleshoot cloud-related infrastructure and networking issues.
• Support SAP SaaS solutions Ariba, SAC, IBP.
• Ability to perform SAP BTP administration activities
• Manage multi-tier SAP landscapes (Development, QA, Production) in cloud environments.
• Ensure seamless integration with third-party applications and SAP modules (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, etc.).
• Configure and manage cloud connectors, SAP Web Dispatcher, and API integrations.
• Ensure compliance with SAP security policies and standards.
• Implementation of periodic SAP Security Notes
• Implement and maintain high availability & disaster recovery (HA/DR) strategies.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and industry standards (GDPR, ISO, SOC, etc.).
• Manage cloud identity authentication (SAP IAS, SSO, MFA).
• Utilize Cloud ALM and monitoring tools for system health checks.
• Perform database administration (HANA, ASE, MaxDB) and optimize queries.
• Monitor system performance, optimize workloads, and perform capacity planning.
• Conduct root cause analysis for performance bottlenecks and system issues.
• Implement system tuning, parameter optimization, and database maintenance.
• Collaborate with SAP RISE Customer Success Team for issue resolution.
• Work with functional and technical teams for change management and transport management.
• Provide support for SAP S/4HANA, BW, PO, Fiori, and other SAP applications.
• Manage SAP system incidents, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime.
• Follow ITIL best practices for change management, incident handling, and service requests.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System or related field.
• Experience: +3 years of SAP BASIS experience
• Expertise in SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, HANA DB, Fiori, and SAP SaaS Solutions
• Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Web Dispatcher, Cloud Identity Services.
• Hands-on experience in managing SAP RISE landscapes and cloud-based SAP environments.
• Experience with SAP BTP and hybrid system landscapes.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP) and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Cloud ALM, and monitoring tools.
• Good understanding of security, compliance, and SAP authentication (SSO, IAM, etc.).
• Ability to work in a 24x7 support model and handle escalations.
• Proficiency in Linux, Windows Server, databases (HANA, SQL Server, ASE,MaxDB).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes).
• Experience in SAP BTP services, Integration Suite, and API Management.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
