This role is fundamental to ensuring the protection of our IT infrastructure and sensitive data from potential cyber threats. As the IT Security Specialist, you will be tasked with monitoring security systems, implementing security measures, and responding to incidents as they arise. Your expertise in the field will contribute to maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of our organizational assets, enhancing our overall security posture.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard IT systems and data.
  • Monitor security logs and alerts to identify and respond to suspicious activities and potential breaches.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security best practices are integrated into operations.
  • Participate in incident response and investigation activities, documenting findings and remedial actions taken.
  • Stay updated on the latest security threats, technologies, and industry trends to provide effective security solutions.
  • Deliver security awareness training to employees and stakeholders to promote a security-conscious culture.
