Job description

Duties and Responsibilities :

As Spa Trainer, I willassume full responsibility for theefficientoperation in the following:

  • Make sure treatment rooms have enough supplies at all times as per standards.
  • Request and log stock of supplies necessary for the treatment rooms.
  • Setup the treatment rooms as per standards.
  • Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to guests at all times.
  • Serve the welcome drink or other menu offerings to the guests when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the Spa and treatment rooms.
  • Maintain the equipment I use in safe conditions.
  • Handle guest complaints and record all guest comments.
  • Log all product recommendations to guests.
  • Fill in documents / controls / reports for duty (stocks, daily logbook if any, lost & found, guest comments).
  • Carry out when required stock count, both retail and professional stock.
  • Monitor usage of products.
  • Evaluate the operations and procedures and suggest improvements to the Spa Management.
  • Lead and motivate all therapists to a level of service which exceeds all guests’ expectations by facilitating teamwork and ensuring all treatments are performed in a consistent manner and in the time allocated.
  • Regularly update knowledge and skills in massage / beauty therapies.
  • As Sustainability champion of location ensure: Reports are completed in due time, yearly goals actioned and planned according to Six Senses plan, work closely with resort on environmental activities, ensure team is aware of sustainability actions and energy saving procedures and monitor plastic usage and work on eliminating it
  • Upsell all fitness, spa and wellness activities.
  • Attend meetings and training as required by supervisors.
  • Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
  • Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
  • Perform any additional tasks given to me by supervisor/management.
Qualifications :

To execute the position of Spa Trainer, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in physical education preferred and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar luxury spas and health clubs with proven certificates.
  • Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I keep myself updated with the latest trends in fitness and wellness.
  • Fluent in English.
