Job summary

InterContinental Hotels & Resorts is seeking a skilled Spa Therapist for our luxury resort in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. You will provide a range of spa treatments, conduct consultations, and maintain a serene, hygienic environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years' spa experience in luxury settings, recognized massage and beauty qualifications, excellent guest service, and a passion for wellness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Spa Therapist in a luxury spa or hotel environment.
• Recognized qualifications in massage therapy and beauty treatments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-centric approach.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
• Passion for wellness and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of spa treatments including massages, facials, and body therapies to a high standard.
• Conduct consultations with guests to determine appropriate treatments based on their needs and preferences.
• Ensure all treatment rooms and equipment are clean, well-maintained, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Promote spa services and products to guests, maximizing retail sales.
• Maintain detailed guest records and follow up on feedback.
• Support the overall operations of the spa, contributing to a serene and professional environment.
• Set up the treatment rooms as per standards.
• Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to guests at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and hygiene of the Spa and treatment rooms.
• Make sure treatment rooms always have enough supplies as per standards.

• Comply with hotel rules and regulations and provisions contained in the employment handbook
• Comply with company’s grooming standards to portray a professional image of self and the hotel
• Comply with time and attendance policies set by the resort
• Actively participate in training and development programs and maximize opportunities for self-development
• Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to health, hygiene and fire life safety.
• Familiarize yourself with emergency and evacuation procedures
