Description

To work with a clear understanding of the standards, core values, visions and goals of Kempinski and Kempinski The Spa.

To ensure clients receive requested treatments and follow‑up recommendations according to the spa’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies.

Key Responsibilities

The duties of Spa Therapist is executed satisfactorily when:

  • Provides spa treatments according to Kempinski the Spa treatment menu, standards and outlined protocols.
  • Retains proper working knowledge of the process, benefit and outcome of all treatments and products in the spa.
  • References and adjusts treatments according to the guest’s health assessment.
  • Delivers special, individualized and unique service to guests in the Spa.
  • Up sells and recommends in a thoughtful way—treatments, retail and homecare.
  • Begins and ends treatments on time. Confidently handles and rectifies guest queries or small complaints.
  • Ensures guests comfort and a genuine, welcoming environment for all guests.
  • Ensures a proper handover is completed in the guest journey as per the documented standard; following up on treatment experience and acting on any discrepancies.
  • Maintains the setup, hygiene and cleanliness of treatment rooms and treatment equipment.
  • Maintains complete discretion and confidentiality in all communications with guests.
  • Actions other positions’ responsibilities within the spa as required.
  • Reports all accidents and guest incidents to the Spa Manager in a swift and professional manner.
  • Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.
