Overview

We are currently seeking a highly capable Social Media Officer to join AK PRODUCTIONS, where they will manage our digital presence, maintain our content archive, and capture behind-the-scenes moments during productions.

The ideal candidate will enjoy both the creative side and the organizational backbone of production work, and will add value by producing and publishing consistent, high-quality content, maintaining a structured and easily accessible archive, and documenting behind-the-scenes moments in close coordination with the production and creative teams.

Founded in 2008, AK PRODUCTIONS is a full-service media production house with operations across Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Kuwait. We deliver high-end commercials, films, series, and branded content, working closely with leading agencies, global brands, and regional partners. As the only Saudi-based production house within the AdGreen Network, we place high importance on sustainability and actively work to limit our carbon footprint.

Our work spans large-scale productions, agency-driven campaigns, and on-ground servicing in Saudi Arabia, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and execution. We believe in hands-on production, strong collaboration, and building teams that can deliver under real production pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain AK PRODUCTIONS’ social media accounts across platforms.
  • Plan, create, and manage content calendars and posting schedules aligned with projects, launches, and shoots.
  • Monitor inbox messages, mentions, and comments; respond in a timely, professional manner and escalate sensitive items when needed.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes (BTS) photos and videos on set during productions.
  • Edit short-form content for reels, stories, and other social formats.
  • Monitor content performance, review platform insights, and adjust content plans accordingly.
  • Support growth by applying basic SEO and social optimization best practices, refining captions, keywords, hashtags, tagging, posting timing, and platform-native features, to boost reach and engagement.
  • Collect, organize, and archive all completed projects and related materials.
  • Maintain a structured, searchable project library (metadata, labeling, versioning), ensuring all assets are accessible, up to date, and clearly categorized.
  • Work closely with the production and creative teams to ensure accurate representation of our work and consistent brand tone.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience managing social media accounts professionally, preferably for a media, production, or creative brand.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Ability to edit short form videos for social media, reels, and stories.
    • Familiarity with basic design and editing tools is a plus, such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva, or CapCut.
    • Comfortable using platform analytics and insights tools to track performance and improve content.
  • Languages: Professional proficiency in English and Arabic.
  • Other Skills:
    • Strong visual sense and attention to detail.
    • Comfortable working on set and around active production environments.
    • Highly organized and methodical when handling files, assets, and archives.
    • Proactive, reliable, and detail oriented, with strong time management skills.
    • Minimum 2 years of working experience in Saudi Arabia.
