Confidential Government is seeking an SMO Execution Manager to drive the execution of strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with operational delivery. You will monitor projects, track KPIs, identify risks, and provide executive reporting to support decisions.

The role requires 8–10 years in strategy management or transformation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role and experience working with senior stakeholders. Government or large-enterprise experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PMI-PMO, or strategy/execution certifications are an advantage.
  • 8–10 years of experience in Strategy Management, PMO, Corporate Performance, or Transformation.
  • At least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Experience with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Government, holding companies, or large enterprises experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the execution of the organization's strategic initiatives and transformation programs.
  • Develop and maintain execution plans, milestones, and performance dashboards.
  • Monitor progress against strategic objectives and KPIs, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with business units and project owners to resolve execution challenges and remove obstacles.
  • Prepare executive reports, presentations, and status updates for senior leadership.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and issues affecting strategic initiatives and recommend mitigation plans.
  • Ensure governance processes are followed and facilitate strategy review meetings.
  • Track benefits realization and measure the impact of strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with PMO and functional teams to align project execution with corporate strategy.
  • Support continuous improvement of strategy execution methodologies and reporting frameworks.
