Job summary

A leading engineering company in Dhahran is seeking a Senior Telecommunication Engineer responsible for managing telecommunication deliverables and supervising construction work. The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of experience in construction and design, with at least 5 years in pipeline projects specifically with Aramco Contractors. Good organizational and communication skills, as well as fluency in English, are essential. This position is based in Dhahran and candidates must be legally authorized to work in Saudi Arabia.

Job description

A Senior Telecommunication Engineer, primarily responsible for implementing the Design phase and construction activity as a member of engineering team, the telecom engineer will be in charge of following:

• Managing and updating telecommunication engineering deliverables
• Managing and updating telecommunication system MTO, construction BOQ
• Coordination with other engineering disciplines (Instrument & Control, Architecture, Civil, Steel Structure, etc.) for design changes
• Red line markups for drawing revision
• Supporting Construction Team (engineering support for telecom systems installation & construction)
• Supervision of construction and/or installation work for various telecommunication systems
• Coordination with Telecom System Integrator
• Coordination with client, other Project Engineering Team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering,
• Minimum of 10 years of experience both in the construction & Designing sector
• 5+ years' of working experience with Aramco Contractors specially in Pipeline Project Construction
• Demonstrated high level organizational, construction inspection, and record keeping skills with ability undertake frequent travel to remote areas
• Skilled in identifying local construction technologies and construction material sources
• Familiarity with and ability to address and resolve cultural issues encountered in the Middle East and experience with Saudi Aramco
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include compliance with any applicable laws and regulations
• Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the Saudi Arabia
• Candidate must be willing to work and reside in Dharan, subject to client's approval
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
