• Lead complex projects involving Wi-Fi, access points, controllers, and advanced wireless technologies

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of SE technical skills, including:
  • 802.11 a/g/n/ac/ax standards
  • Wireless design and assessment, heat map, troubleshooting, and optimization
  • IP routing and switching, WAN/LAN design, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Layer 4-7 application services
  • Security authentication methods and products (RADIUS, AD)
  • Virtualization environments and deployments (VMWare, KVM, Hyper-V, GCE, Azure, AWS)
  • Cloudpath and related technologies
• Advanced knowledge in:
  • VLAN, Security, VoIP, QoS (wired/wireless)
  • BYOD/MDM, PtP, Mesh, Wireless Controller Architectures
  • Wi-Fi protocols and RF engineering for indoor/outdoor deployments
  • Packet capture/analysis tools
  • WLAN security (Authentication, Encryption, RADIUS/AAA, EAP/PSK, Active Directory)
  • RF polarization and antenna signal propagation behavior
• Ability to troubleshoot complex problems effectively
• Strong technical presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree (BS/BA minimum) in Electrical, Computer, or Networking Engineering; Computer Programming; Information Technology; Management Information Systems; Computer Science; Mathematics
• Minimum 7 years of experience working with IP/Wireless technologies
• Professional networking certifications preferred: CCNP, BCNP, JNCIA, PCNSE, Aruba, Ruckus, CWNA, CWNP
