Senior Solution Architect for Consumer Business Unit

The Solution Architect will be responsible for owning & defining the end-to-end solutions for projects initiated by Consumer Business Unit. Building on his understanding of BSS / OSS landscape and deep hands-on experience for telecommunications products in different areas like FTTX, GSM & 5G, he will generate solution artifacts and ensure consence from different stakeholders around it.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead solution discussion sessions among different stakeholders to discuss proposed scope & requirements.

• Legalize with SME in different application domains to ensure technical alignment for the proposed solution.

• Prepare solution design artifacts and review different artifacts or design documents to ensure conformance to the proposed solution.

• Follow industry best practice around building technical solution & delivering on business expectations.

• Develop the solution architecture in alignment with business goals and enterprise architecture guidance.

• Provide perspectives on how industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices can apply to the target solution, leveraging guidance and expertise from the broader enterprise architecture group as applicable.

• Support Product Owners, Business Users, BA and others in creating roadmap for complex CRs.

• Help in applying agile practices among solution architecture team.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT.

• At least 12+ years of experience in telecommunications and at 5+ years of experience as a solution architect.

• Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies (such as DevOps, Design Patterns, Cloud Computing, Omni-channel trends… etc.)

• Strong knowledge in tmForum standards and their use (certification is a plus).

• Solid telecommunication experience dealing with Online Charging System, Provisioning & Activation, Mediation, Order Management, Customer Relationship System.

• Understanding of product offering for telecommunication service providers like 5G, Broadband, Digital Services & GSM, and ability to build consumer journeys for those products.

• Previous experience leading successful projects in consumer business that delivers values to sales, sarketing, commercial, customer experience, finance, and other business domains.

• Previous experience in oracle telecommunication products like Siebel, BRM, OSM, ESB, OC3C, ECE & Provisioning / Fulfilment.
