A leading data analytics company is seeking a strategic Account Executive to drive new business in Saudi Arabia's healthcare and logistics sectors. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of B2B technology sales experience, with a deep understanding of data analytics solutions. This role focuses on building client relationships and executing successful sales strategies. Exceptional communication skills and a consultative approach to sales are essential. This is a hunter role for a strategic and results-driven Account Executive. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities, securing new logo wins for Teradata within the KSA healthcare and logistics industries. You will be responsible for defining and executing a territory plan to introduce Teradata's cutting-edge data and analytics solutions to C-level executives and key decision-makers.
Strategic New Business Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy focused on acquiring new enterprise clients ("new logos") in the healthcare and logistics sectors across Saudi Arabia.
Lead Generation and Prospecting: Proactively generate new leads through networking, market research, and targeted outreach to build a robust sales pipeline.
Customer Engagement and Solutions Selling: Build strong, long-term relationships with prospective clients by understanding their business needs, challenges, and strategic initiatives. Position Teradata's analytics solutions to demonstrate clear business value and ROI.
Consultative Sales Cycle Management: Navigate and manage complex, end-to-end sales cycles from initial engagement to deal closure, involving internal experts such as solutions architects and delivery teams as needed.
Proposal and Negotiation: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, technical and commercial proposals, and tender responses. Lead negotiations to secure mutually beneficial contracts.
Market Intelligence: Stay current with market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the KSA healthcare and logistics industries to identify new business opportunities.
Forecasting and Reporting: Maintain accurate forecasts and records of all sales activities and customer information using our CRM system.
You’ll be working closely with your customer, both as a consultant and as a trusted advisor as well as our Sales and pre sales Team. In this role you will report to General Manager. Teradata’s professional reputation and range of solutions and services is second to none, so you’ll also be a trusted ambassador for our brand.
Saudi National: This role is open exclusively to Saudi Nationals.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of successful B2B technology sales experience in Saudi Arabia, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Domain Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience selling data and analytics solutions, with a strong understanding of the data ecosystem. Previous experience selling specifically into the healthcare or logistics sectors is highly desirable.
Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of data analytics, cloud solutions, and how data can solve complex business problems. Experience with Teradata products is a major plus.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities. The capacity to build trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders.
Business Acumen: Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to articulate the value and ROI of technology investments to business leaders.
Consultative Approach: Proven ability to lead a thorough needs discovery and influence a buyer's thinking by reframing problems and guiding them towards new possibilities.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
