Job summary

A leading project management consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a prestigious project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this critical position, you will manage cost planning, budgeting, and contract administration activities while ensuring compliance with contract terms. The ideal candidate should possess over 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, and a degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying. MRICS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in quantity surveying/commercial management.
• Strong knowledge of contract management in project environments.
• MRICS or equivalent certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost planning, budgeting, and financial control activities.
• Manage contract administration, variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Review and certify interim payments and monitor project cash flow.
• Provide commercial advice and reporting to project leadership.

Role Overview

JASARA PMC is looking for a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor to become part of the team for one of its esteemed projects located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be crucial in overseeing the commercial and cost-related components of this iconic mixed-use development program.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial control activities
• Manage contract administration, variations, claims, and final accounts
• Review and certify interim payments and monitor project cash flow
• Provide commercial advice and reporting to project and client leadership
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, procedures, and PMC standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• 10+ years’ experience in quantity surveying/commercial management
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and PMC environments
• Experience on large-scale developments in KSA preferred
• MRICS or equivalent certification is an advantage
