Job description
Our client, Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), is seeking to hire a qualified Senior Quality Control Engineer for their project, Provide technical QC expertise across multiple power projects “power generation, substation and transmission line” projects. Ensure advanced compliance with design, specifications, and standards. Lead resolution of complex nonconformities, support cross-project audits, and contribute to technical standardization and process optimization.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Inspection & Verification

Lead inspections of technically complex activities (e.g., GIS installation, power transformers installation, tower tensioning, cable jointing & terminations, HV testing).

Validate contractor execution against high-risk method statements and critical design tolerances.

Witness and interpret advanced testing and commissioning results, including FAT/SAT procedures.

Material Receiving Inspection

Oversee inspection of specialized equipment.

Verify compliance with international standards and manufacturer documentation.

Ensure traceability and readiness for client and third‑party audits.

Documentation & Reporting

Review and validate inspection records, NCRs, and QC logs across multiple sites.

Lead preparation of audit documentation and client handover packages.

Develop and refine templates for inspection checklists and MRIRs “Material Receiving Inspection Reports”.

Compliance & Coordination

Enforce design integrity across multiple contractors and subcontractors.

Resolve escalated nonconformities and lead root cause analysis.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and client QC teams.

Learning & Development

Train and certify junior and mid‑level inspectors on specialized inspection scopes.

Contribute to QC committee initiatives and technical workshops.

Stay current on SEC, IEC/IEEE updates and emerging QC technologies.
