As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Webook, you will be responsible for testing all features, both functional and non-functional, for our product. You will examine whether the software meets architectural requirements, develop and automate tests for software validation, ensure high quality of the system, and interact with firmware developers and validation engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, enhance, debug, and run test cases.
• Collate and monitor the defect management process.
• Manage changes and execute regression tests.
• Come up with exact solutions for problems related to object identity and error handling.
• Track bug life‑cycle workflows: test, initiate, review, investigate, update, and confirm resolution of identified issues.
• Conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers fits its purpose.
• Work closely with developers to ensure bugs are fixed based on test case results, maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Identify non-show‑stopper bugs from severe bugs and identify weaknesses in our products.
• Participate in requirement reviews, writing and helping others write test cases.
• Write and maintain test plans, test environments, test cases, and automation test scripts, tools, and track defects.
• Make recommendations for improvement to enhance process and efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
• Create training materials and operating manuals.
• Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports.
• Help build an automation testing team.

Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
• Deep knowledge of test case execution, automation, and regression testing.
• Familiarity with bug‑tracking tools and processes (JIRA, Asana, Trello).
• Familiarity with modern development approaches such as Agile, Scrum, and Lean.
• Strong knowledge in identifying and selecting the automation testing framework.
• Solid test automation background to fulfill automation tasks.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and design patterns.
• Strong experience with Python (preferred), Java, Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, Maven, Appium, Git, RestAssured, Postman, JMeter.
• Strong experience with mobile and web UI test automation.
• Deep understanding of HTML and JS.
• Good experience in API test automation.
• Ability to document the automation test strategy, create an automation test plan, configure Selenium Test Environment, and participate in Selenium environment setup with an IDE.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 4‑7 years of experience in QA automation.
• Solid coding skills for designing and implementing automated solutions.
• Preferred ISTQB CTFL Certificate.
