A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The candidate will lead complex infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to project best practices and effective communication with stakeholders. Qualified applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering, with extensive experience in project management, particularly in international contexts. Preferred skills include strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

In our 12 countries (Europe, Middle East, Asia) of operation, we are working on the production and distribution of low-carbon electricity, through the development of nuclear and renewable energies. We are also supporting the modernisation and development of energy grids, managing the setup and siting for new transmission and distribution networks, and using hydrogen to decarbonise the transport and industry sectors.
Lead and manage large-scale, complex infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
Develop and implement charters and execution plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies.
Lead, mentor, and develop project management teams, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, internal and external stakeholders, and senior management.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.
Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
Implement and monitor quality control processes to maintain high standards of project execution.
Develop and enforce rigorous health and safety standards for all project activities.
Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and safety training for project teams to ensure a safe working environment.
Address safety issues promptly and ensure compliance with local and international health and safety regulations.
Prepare and present comprehensive project reports, status updates, and presentations to stakeholders and senior management.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
Should be able to present dashboards and weekly and monthly reports.
Leverage extensive experience in managing international projects.
Navigate complex regulatory and compliance requirements in different regions.
Ensure timely submission of project charters, execution plans, lessons learned, project management plans etc.
Oversee the development and implementation of roadworks, water reservoirs, asphalt paving, design development, drainage systems, crossings, pump stations and utility installations.
Ensure that all infrastructure components are integrated effectively and meet design specifications.
Coordinate and manage interfaces between different project elements, including coordination among various contractors, design teams, and regulatory bodies.
Ensure seamless integration of all project components and resolve any conflicts or issues arising from these interfaces.
Coordinate all infrastructure interfaces with other PMC's who are responsible for the development of the assets.
Develop and execute project execution strategies aligned with client objectives and organizational goals.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to manage project risks and uncertainties.
Monitor project performance through the implementation of earned value management techniques and implement corrective actions and recovery plans as needed to achieve project goals.
Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
Minimum of 18 years of experience in project management, with at least 7-8 years in international PMC roles.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale and complex projects in diverse industries.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets and resources.
Ability to navigate and resolve complex issues and conflicts effectively.
Experience working in a multicultural environment and managing global project teams.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Previous experience in the GCC is a plus.
Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is a highly advantage value.
