The project:

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed‑use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high‑calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Champions health, safety, wellbeing, and security across the project, empowering teams to follow policies and procedures, and is skilled in conducting safety investigations, inspections, and audits.
  • Integrates a customer‑first mindset into all aspects of project planning and delivery, ensuring alignment with Customer Experience strategies.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership aligned with core values, inspiring high performance through clear direction, continuous feedback, recognition, and fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Provides inclusive and visible leadership, supports succession planning, explores recruitment and retention strategies, and mentors both direct reports and the wider team.
  • Oversees project execution across all functional areas, collaborating with internal stakeholders and presenting strategies (e.g., procurement, logistics, constructability) to governance committees.
  • Ensures robust project delivery plans are developed, communicated, implemented, and regularly reviewed, while proactively managing risks, opportunities, and change processes.
  • Leads procurement and commercial activities, ensuring appropriate contract models, market engagement, cost control, and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Drives continuous improvement and learning, conducting post‑project reviews, staying updated on industry trends, and leading a wide range of project activities including design reviews, site inspections, and executive reporting.
You’ll need to have:
  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Civil Engineering, Project Management, Risk Management, Construction Management.
  • Higher National Diploma: Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, leading complex projects from initiation to completion within a contracting or construction environment.
