About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to join our team and drive data-driven decision‑making across the organization. In this role, you will transform complex retail data into actionable insights, create impactful dashboards, and work closely with business stakeholders and executives to support strategic decisions.

You will combine technical expertise, business understanding, and UI/UX‑focused dashboard design to maximize the impact of analytics across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• KPI Strategy & Design
• Define, document, and implement critical KPIs aligned with retail business objectives.
• Ensure KPIs are measurable, relevant, and consistently tracked across the organization.
• Power BI Development & Advanced Analytics
• Design, develop, and maintain impactful dashboards and reports in Power BI, incorporating advanced DAX calculations.
• Create intuitive visualizations that highlight trends, performance drivers, and opportunities for improvement.
• UI/UX‑Centric Dashboard Design
• Apply UI/UX principles to deliver dashboards that are accurate, engaging, and easy to interpret.
• Maximize adoption and impact by tailoring visualizations to diverse stakeholder needs, including executive audiences.
• Executive‑Level Business Translation & Stakeholder Collaboration
• Translate complex retail business problems into clear data requirements.

Requirements

• Experience: 36 years in Data Analysis, Business Analysis, or BI Development.
• Industry Background (Mandatory): Proven retail experience with direct exposure to operational and strategic challenges.
• CXO Engagement: Demonstrated ability to present insights and recommendations to CXO‑level executives.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Expert‑level SQL for querying and data manipulation.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including advanced dashboard design and deployment.
• Demonstrable expertise in DAX for complex measures, calculated columns, and tables.
• Analytical & Business Skills:
• Proven ability to design and track KPIs.
• Strong business acumen to contextualize data within broader retail strategy.
• Deep understanding of UI/UX principles in data visualization.
• Excellent communication skills in English & Arabic (written and verbal).
