Job summary

A global engineering and construction company is seeking an experienced Project Planner in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will have over 10 years of experience in project planning, specifically with large-scale Saudi Aramco EPC projects. Expertise in Primavera P6 and strong analytical and communication skills are essential for this role. Responsibilities include developing project schedules, monitoring progress, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling for large-scale cross country pipeline projects.
  • Proven experience in Saudi Aramco EPC projects.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling software.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using recognized planning tools (Primavera P6).
  • Monitor project progress and provide early identification of schedule risks and delays.
  • Coordinate with project management, design, procurement, construction, and other disciplines to integrate schedules across all project activities.
  • Support program controls, planning and implementation. Including coordinating high-level resources, schedules and budgets in line with Program objectives.
  • Preparation and review of master Level 1, 2 & 3 schedules including monitoring progress against baseline schedules.
  • Preparation and review of Recovery Schedules.
  • Support preparation and implementation of Program level KPI performance indicators, compliance, improvements and risks.
  • Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for senior management and clients including providing technical support for Program presentations.
  • Conduct schedule reviews, scenario analysis, and “what-if” planning exercises to optimize project delivery.
  • Support risk management by identifying potential schedule-related risks and proposing mitigation measures.
  • Ensure adherence to project milestones, critical path analysis, and timely completion of activities.
  • Mentor and guide junior planning and scheduling engineers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling for large-scale cross country pipeline projects is required.
  • Proven experience in Saudi Aramco EPC projects is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and manage complex project schedules.
