  • Lifting hot billets from cooling bed and transferring on to the inspection table.
  • Transferring billets after inspection on Billet Transfer car.
  • Operating 90 ton crane on caster bay when required for lid removal / placement, tundish shifting, slag box changing, mould body changing etc.
  • Operating 40 ton crane on Scale bay when required for scale removing from scale pit/TCM Scale box changing & all work in Scale pit bay.
  • Removal of scale from TOCB & NTCB, Facilitating scale removal from TOCB, Scale Pit and Below roller tables
  • Housekeeping inside crane cabin & walk way & all CCM Area.
  • Inspecting crane condition / controls at the start of every shift.
  • Responsible of crane safety, shift activities & problem monitoring in all cranes.
  • Reporting problems of cranes to shift supervisor & CCM Superintendent.
  • To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
  • To follow safety instructions related to their jobs.
  • To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.
  • To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
  • To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
  • To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.
  • To attend safety trainings planned for them.
  • Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.
