Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with OpenShift 4.x, Kubernetes, and OpenShift Virtualization.

• Strong understanding of lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and hybrid migration methodologies.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across compute, network, and storage layers.

Responsibilities

• Design & Deploy OpenShift Clusters: Architect and implement Red Hat OpenShift 4.x environments across multiple sites with high availability and virtualization integration.
• Migrate Legacy Workloads: Lead application and workload migration to containerized platforms, ensuring performance, compatibility, and rollback readiness.
• Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and validate multi-cluster DR architectures, including replication, failover, and backup strategies using tools like Kasten K10 and Velero.
• Automate Operations: Build CI/CD pipelines and integrate observability tools to streamline deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with infrastructure, storage, and operations teams to ensure seamless implementation and business continuity.
• Knowledge Transfer: Deliver training, documentation, and handover materials to support long-term operational success.
