Senior Network Security Engineer

We're recruiting a Senior Network Security Engineer for a reputable Managed IT Services Provider.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain network-related diagrams
• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
• Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices
• Oversee new deployments in network core or network security
• Conduct penetration testing, configuration review, and assessment
• Perform security reviews and audits of network security design, configuration, and logs to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices
• Maintain LAN, WAN and architecture of the server as per the business policy
• Support IT projects in network, voice and network security tasks and issues
• Implement and troubleshoot IPsec Site-to-Site & Client-to-Site VPN
• Administrate, manage, document and log support for all firewalls
• Support email gateway requirements, track emails and troubleshoot email delivery
• Monitor web security gateways, perimeter security, network access controls and endpoint security
• Administrate and manage web proxy and secure users' access to the internet
• Provide recommendations for configuration of cybersecurity solutions and systems based on policies and regulations (NCA, SAMA, etc.)
• Coordinate and support audit with external regulators such as Saudi CMA or internal audit and advisory bodies to ensure strong security posture

Requirements

• 4-5 years of hands‑on experience in implementing, configuring, managing and supporting cybersecurity and network security solutions
• Experience with the following:
• Network security solutions and firewalls: Foritnet
• IPS/IDS and DDoS protection: Tipping Point / Arbor (NetScout)
• WAF and web proxy solutions: F5 / Broadcom Bluecoat
• Email security gateways and SSL VPN: Symantec SMG / Pulse Secure
• Manage EDR solutions and AV solutions: Carbon Black / Apex One
• Dam and PAM: Imperva DAM / Thycotic
• Threat protection solution: FireEye EX/NX/HX
• Two‑factor authentication: Gemalto
• Network load balancers
• CCNP certification is a must
