The Senior Network Infrastructure Architect is responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise and data center network infrastructures. The role focuses on routing, switching, WAN, and high-availability services to ensure resilient, scalable, and secure connectivity for business-critical platforms. The architect collaborates with security, cloud, and application teams to deliver robust network foundations for current and future services.
Key Responsibilities
- sDesign and architect enterprise and data center networks covering LAN, WAN, campus, and backbone environments
- .Define network standards, reference architectures, and technical guidelines for routing, switching, and high availability
- .Lead implementation and migration projects involving Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ACI, and related data center technologies
- .Plan and implement WAN, MPLS, and VPN solutions to connect sites, partners, and external services
- .Ensure network availability, performance, and scalability through capacity planning, optimization, and proactive monitoring
- .Oversee deployment and configuration of network services such as VLANs, QoS, multicast, redundancy protocols, and link aggregation
- .Integrate network infrastructure with load balancers (e.g., F5 BIG-IP) to support highly available applications and services
- .Collaborate with security teams to ensure network design supports segmentation, zoning, and secure connectivity requirements
- .Produce high-quality HLD, LLD, and MOP documents; review and validate designs from internal and external teams
- .Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex network incidents and performance issues
- .Coordinate with vendors and service providers for circuit provisioning, escalations, and solution design
- .Mentor network engineers, provide technical leadership, and contribute to continuous improvement of network engineering practices
