Job summary

DefineX is seeking a software professional in Saudi Arabia to join our team. You will take end to end ownership of delivery, translating business needs into high‑quality solutions and collaborating with product, design and cross‑functional teams to ensure value‑driven outcomes.

The role emphasizes building scalable and secure systems, driving the full lifecycle from design to post‑production support, and continually improving performance and user experience in a fast‑paced, agile environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics Engineering or other disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with IBM Datapower, API Connect, App Connect and Cloud Pak.
• Familiarity with Web Services (SOAP, REST), Postman, SoapUI, queue messaging (JMS, Kafka, etc.).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL, including error handling and offline strategies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, Git workflows, and Agile delivery practices.

• Provide guidance and mentorship within the team, supporting a strong engineering culture and high standards.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and cross‑functional teams to deliver clear and value‑driven outcomes.
• Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and improvement areas.
• Apply Agile principles with discipline to ensure predictable and high‑impact delivery.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to support continuous improvement and innovation.
• Contribute to reusable assets, knowledge sharing, and best practices to strengthen organizational capability.

What You Bring to the Table
