Job summary

Lucid Motors USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced MES Engineer to lead deployment and enhancement of the Manufacturing Execution System across production operations.

You will ensure real-time data, traceability, and process control while partnering with IT, quality, controls engineering, and business systems. The role requires strong SAP/ERP integration skills, familiarity with ISO 9001/IATF 16949, and proven ability to support audits, validations, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• BSc/Master in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical preferred)
• 5+ years in a high-volume OEM manufacturing environment
• Minimum 4 years in the same MES/Automation role
• Ability to influence and interface with senior management
• Fast-paced environment with multiple projects
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills
• Familiarity with SAP Quality Module
• Familiarity with MES applications is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead MES deployment, configuration, enhancement, and lifecycle management.
• Maintain MES applications, workflows, routing, genealogy, traceability, and production execution functionality.
• Ensure MES system reliability, availability, and performance.
• Manage user access, security roles, and system governance.
• Integrate MES with PLCs and automation systems.
• Integrate with ERP systems (SAP).
• Work with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Interface with equipment and test stations and databases.
• Support production line launches, process changes, and new product introductions.
• Provide technical support for shop-floor MES issues.
• Ensure accurate collection of production and process data.
• Develop and maintain genealogy and traceability solutions.
• Support serialization, VIN tracking, torque traceability, and quality records.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with company standards.
• Support audits and system validations.
• Participate in FMEA.
• Maintain documentation, change management, and validation records.
