Role Overview

The Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative, developing one of the nation's most ambitious entertainment, culture, and tourism destinations. We are seeking a Senior Manager – Strategic Procurement to lead our procurement strategy, engaging with various stakeholders to optimize and innovate our procurement processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end procurement cycle, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while driving value across our project categories. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to build strong supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and implement best practices that enhance the operational efficiency and effectiveness of our procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement Strategy Development

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies that align with the overall objectives of the Qiddiya project, focusing on cost control, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Analyze market conditions and supply chain dynamics to identify sourcing opportunities and risks.

2. Supplier Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance standards are met and exceeded.
  • Negotiate contracts to secure the best prices and terms for the organization.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

3. Cross‑Departmental Collaboration

  • Partner with internal departments to assess their needs, translating them into procurement strategies that fulfill project requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to foster collaboration and align procurement activities.

4. Risk Management and Reporting

  • Identify potential risks within the supply chain, developing strategies to mitigate them and ensuring continuity of supply.
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, savings, and supplier performance metrics to senior management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in strategic procurement or supply chain management, with experience in large‑scale projects preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills and proven experience in supplier management and contract negotiations.
  • Excellent analytical abilities, capable of leveraging data to drive purchasing decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is beneficial.
