Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple client engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery and engagement economics.
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies, focusing on long-term transformation and measurable performance improvement.
- Analyze regulatory changes, market trends, and organizational strengths/weaknesses to create innovative solutions for complex business challenges.
- Serve as a champion for CCaSS initiatives, driving thought leadership and best practices across the team.
- Mentor and upskill team members, fostering a culture of excellence, agility, and continuous learning.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on climate change, decarbonization, ESG reporting, and sustainability strategy.
- Support business development activities, including proposal writing, client presentations, and networking within the sustainability ecosystem.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Demonstrated experience in climate change, sustainability, and ESG—especially within capital projects, transport, real estate, urban development, hospitality, and construction.
- Strong technical, quantitative, and analytical skills; ability to synthesize data and communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Proven track record in consulting, project management, and team leadership within a Big-4 or leading advisory firm.
- Expertise in sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, CSRD, ISSB), circular economy, HSE management systems, and green building standards.
- Experience in GHG accounting, verification, and environmental/social impact assessment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic; flexible to frequent business travel.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, energy, finance, economics, or related sciences. MBA is a plus.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, with a strong consulting background.
- Certifications in climate change, sustainability, or ESG are highly desirable.
