In this role as a Senior Logistics Specialist , you will be responsible for overseeing the processing of maintenance and supply data associated with the operation of fielded radar facilities utilizing the Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS).

This Onsite unaccompanied position is in Saudi Arabia; this will be an international assignment with additional compensation.

Onboarding before deployment will be in El Paso, TX.

Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignments including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.

What You Will Do
  • Involvement with day-to-day operations of the Logistics Support Plan.
  • Shipping, receiving inventory.
  • Control of spares and tools.
  • Maintaining calibration on test equipment.
  • Handling hazardous material.
  • Local procurement of consumables.
  • Stocking assets with attention to package and handling instructions.
  • Issuing parts to job orders through the Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS) and preparing them for delivery.
  • Packing and shipping material through commercial carriers and utilizing the DD1149 produced by ALCS.
  • Oversight of processing of maintenance functions and configuration management utilizing ALCS associated with the assigned Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Radar System.
  • Maintaining receipts of local purchase and filing expense reports in a timely manner.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3+ years’ experience.
  • Experience with logistics or system maintenance support of technical hardware and / or software in a military or civilian environment.
  • Experience with an Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS) or like application for supply and maintenance tracking.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience or knowledge with Maximo Asset Management.
  • Comprehension of logistics standards and functions utilized tosupportTHAAD and other military systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including but limited to Excel, Word, Project, Team Foundation and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and investigative skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
