CCDS is on the lookout for a dedicated Senior Infrastructure and System Administrator to enhance our technical team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing our infrastructure and system environments. Your deep knowledge of network, server, and storage systems will be crucial to ensuring high availability and performance of critical applications across the organization. This role also entails providing mentorship to junior staff and collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless IT operations.
Responsibilities
- Citrix Administration
- Manage and support Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environments.
- Perform configuration, deployment, upgrades, and troubleshooting of Citrix components.
- Ensure optimal performance, load balancing, and application availability.
- Monitor user sessions, profiles, and policies to maintain seamless access.
- Virtualization Management
- Deploy, configure, and maintain virtualization platforms including VMware ESXi & vCenter, Nutanix AHV, Microsoft Hyper‑V.
- Monitor cluster health, performance, and resource utilization.
- Manage VM lifecycle (provisioning, migration, backup, decommissioning).
- Optimize resource allocation and high availability configurations.
- Data Protection & Backup Solutions
- Administer and maintain enterprise backup solutions including Veeam Backup & Replication, Veritas Commvault.
- Ensure backup integrity, scheduling, retention policies, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Perform routine backup tests and recovery drills.
- Microsoft Systems Administration
- Manage Windows Server environments, including installation, hardening, and patching.
- Oversee Active Directory (GPOs, DNS, DHCP, OU management, replication monitoring).
- Administer Microsoft Exchange (mailbox management, connectors, DAGs).
- Monitor system logs, performance metrics, and security compliance.
- Infrastructure Operations
- Maintain server hardware, storage systems, and network-connected devices.
- Ensure consistent monitoring, performance tuning, and security updates.
- Implement best practices for system availability, performance, and resiliency.
- Support IT operations, service requests, and incident resolution in a timely manner.
- Security & Compliance
- Apply security hardening standards and best practices across systems and platforms.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, cybersecurity frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Work with security teams on vulnerability remediation and incident response.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation for architecture, configurations, and change management.
- Prepare regular reports on system health, resource utilization, and performance.
- Contribute to IT process improvement and automation initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Professional Experience: 5–7 years of experience in system administration, infrastructure engineering, or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops administration; VMware, Nutanix AHV, Hyper‑V; Veeam / Veritas / Commvault; Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange; Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP; Familiarity with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.); Knowledge of ITIL best practices is a plus; Scripting (PowerShell) is an added advantage.
