Job summary

A leading automotive company in Riyadh is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support and align operations with legal standards. The role involves managing litigation, overseeing commercial agreements, and protecting intellectual property. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Law and have 5-8 years of relevant experience, with strong skills in negotiation and stakeholder management. This position plays a crucial role in balancing risk management and proactive legal advice to enhance business growth.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house.
  • Strong experience in litigation, commercial contracts, leasing, and IP matters.
  • Experience in franchising, retail, or hospitality sectors is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee litigation matters, including labor, commercial, and civil disputes.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including service agreements, supply agreements, NDAs, and MOUs.
  • Manage the trademarks portfolio including registration, renewals, and enforcement.
  • Draft and negotiate franchise, agency, and distribution agreements.
  • Review and negotiate lease agreements, amendments, and termination notices.
  • Assist with corporate governance matters including board resolutions and delegated authorities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders.
