Position Summary
One of our clients are seeking a Senior Human Resources Specialist who is responsible for delivering advanced HR support across multiple functional areas, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compensation, benefits, and compliance. This role serves as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, ensures HR policies are applied consistently, and contributes to strategic HR initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
1. Employee Relations & HR Advisory
- Provide expert guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage complex employee relations cases, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance issues.
- Promote a positive work environment and support employee engagement initiatives.
2. Recruitment & Talent Management
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for mid- to senior-level positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, selection criteria, and recruitment strategies.
- Support onboarding activities to ensure a strong candidate-to-employee transition.
3. Performance Management
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of performance evaluation processes.
- Coach managers on delivering feedback and improving team performance.
- Analyze performance-related data to identify trends and improvement areas.
4. HR Policy, Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Update and maintain HR policies, handbooks, and SOPs.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics (turnover, attendance, performance, etc.).
5. Total Rewards (Compensation & Benefits)
- Assist in salary benchmarking, job evaluations, and compensation analysis.
- Support benefits administration, including communication, enrollment, and employee queries.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of employee compensation data.
6. Learning & Development
- Identify training needs and support the coordination of employee development programs.
- Facilitate workshops, orientations, and HR-related training sessions.
- Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
7. HR Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Lead or participate in strategic HR projects such as digital transformation, employee engagement, and process optimization.
- Contribute insights to improve HR processes, efficiency, and service delivery.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- +5 years of progressive HR experience.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is an advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, local labor laws, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with HR metrics.
- Proficiency in HRIS/ATS systems and MS Office Suite.
