Project description

A Large bank in Saudi is looking for Murex FO Business and Functional Analyst for its Murex greenfield implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and functional expertise to implement, configure, and support products.
  • Work closely with front-office users, understanding their requirements, and translating them into functional specifications for the Murex system.
  • Configure the application, resolve issues, and ensure the system aligns with the business needs of the trading desk.
  • Interact with front-office users to understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure the system meets their requirements.
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders in a clear document.
  • Configure curves and static data including securities, generators, indices etc. in Murex.
  • Write new pre trade rules, create lookup tables / simulation views / e-tradepad.
  • Support traders, middle office users on PL / position mismatches, market operations, etc.
  • Reporting on progress, issues, showstoppers to manager and other stakeholders.
  • Understand the impact of new changes into production.
  • Ensure collaboration with other Murex internal, client and change teams to share information.
Skills
Must have
  • Have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience working as a Murex FO Business and Functional Analyst.
  • 8-10 Years of relevant experience as a Murex Front Office Consultant.
  • Murex Implementation experience (Mx.3.1).
  • FO Modules of Murex.
  • E-Tradepad, Simulation, Viewers, Pre-Trade Workflow, Market Data, Dynamic Tables, P&L Notepad, FDI Templates, Blotters, Risk Metrices.
  • Understanding of Trade Pricing, Valuation Models, Risk Management, Sensitivities/Greeks. Proven knowledge in configuring revaluation rate curves, Cap/Floor vols, Swaption vols.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills accompanied with excellent communication.
  • Domain knowledge: Functional knowledge should encompass any two or all of the following asset classes: Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX Cash, FX Derivatives, Commodities, Structured Derivatives.
